Aline Marinelo, Staff Accountant at Clair Global
With an open mind, one door has always opened another for Aline in her personal and professional life. Aline has recently celebrated 3 years at Clair Global as an accountant, is a thriving member of Rock Lititz Community, and has a unique journey getting to our campus. Originally from Brazil, Aline moved to the US for a 6-month au pair program in Pennsylvania with the goal of improving her English. Her time with her second host family in Michigan quickly turned into an educational journey after being recruited for volleyball by Siena Hights University. Building upon her education in business administration and management, HR logistic, and psychology in Brazil, she decided to pursue a degree in accounting.
Aline now finds herself using her roots as an incredible asset as she helps with Clair Brazil and Clair Spain, using her linguistic abilities in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Although she was raised in Brazil, this new opportunity has opened her eyes to how accounting and business operates in that region. Recently she has been channeling avariety of business skills into Clair Brazil, from organizing and preparingcrews to logistics and translation. Despite having no prior experience in the live event industry, she still obtains the mentality of working hard to support your team and enjoys uplifting the strong women she calls colleagues.
From the annual Halloween party and Cornhole tournaments to a patchwork workshop, Aline is no stranger to a Rock Lititz Community Event. Being on the Rock Lititz Community Ambassador Team she has been able to gain a deeper understanding of the ecosystem that the live events industry is and understands the importance of every single role behind the curtain, including hers. The community has not only allowed her to make professional connections, but also new friends and opportunities along the way.

"Being part of the ambassador team last year was amazing, and I signed up again this year because I got to meet so many people and see things from different perspectives. Sometimes one company already had a solution that another needed, and we’d just share ideas and help each other out. We’re all kind of doing the same thing and have the same ideology, but work in different spaces. What I love the most is building those connections in the community. There are so many supportive people around, and it really helped me see the value in my role and how I can bring more to the team.”
